North Point Completes First Stage of Refurbishment

Around 14,000 sq ft of space has been reconfigured as part of the shopping centre's 19-week refurb

Phase one of our refurbishment programme has completed at North Point Shopping Centre, leading to two new tenancies moving into the revitalised units just three weeks after works finished.

Fulton Foods, a frozen food retailer, have taken 2,600 sq ft of space on a 10-year lease while plus-size fashion retailer Yours Clothing have taken 2,740 sq ft on a five-year lease. This following a boost in Hull’s economic position since becoming the UK’s City of Culture 2017.

The refurbishment programme followed a 19-week schedule, which started on 23rd October 2017, including reconfiguration of six shop units and circa 14,000 sq ft of space.

These new lettings join existing tenants Iceland, New Look, Home Bargains, Poundland, Boots and Bon Marche with just nine units available amounting to 12,070 sq ft.
