FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) is now appointed to drive the future recovery of the 1.75M sq ft Mapeley Gamma portfolio as its asset and property management company.
Gamma comprises 25 secondary predominantly office assets spread across the UK with the five largest properties being:
The 344,481 sq ft The Pearl Centre in Peterborough;
The 245,064 sq ft Leon House in Croydon;
The 93,877 sq ft Clarendon House in Warwick;
The 193,856 sq ft IBM Campus in Watford;
The 146,207 sq ft Nelson Gate in Southampton.
Tim Knowles, MD of FIREM, said that his team is now working to an agreed asset and property management strategy and a business plan to regear leases, fill voids and to explore ways to enhance value through refurbishment and redevelopment: “We have already opened up discussions with existing tenants and plan to work with them closely as we will in the future with prospective tenants and their advisors.
“We are already receiving interest in the future of this portfolio from other interested parties and hold ourselves open to those discussions.”
