NEW NORTHERN CHAIRMAN OF BRITISH COUNCIL FOR SHOPPING CENTRES

FI Real Estate Management’s  (FIREM) Head of Shopping Centres in the UK and Europe, Bernard Ferris has recently been elected Chairman of the British Council for Shopping Centres in the North.

Ferris joined FIREM in 2012 from Colliers International to build up the company’s shopping centre team and to take responsibility for the successful operation of its extensive managed retail portfolios in the UK and Europe.

Widely regarded as a retail ‘guru’ and with a career spanning over 25 years in retail property management, he is looking forward to the role which he believes will help to provide a strong local and regional ‘lobby’ for retail issues affecting the North of England at local and national government level.

Lancashire based FIREM is now one of the fastest growing asset and property management companies in Europe with offices in London, Dusseldorf and Chorley in the North West.
