FI Real Estate Management (FIREM), asset and property managers of the 70,000 sq ft Friars House in Coventry city centre, have successfully concluded the second letting at the office building in the past few weeks.
Following the 3,000 sq ft letting to recruitment giant Hayes as part of their expansion into the city, utilities company Economy Energy Trading Ltd has taken the 6,800 sq ft tenth floor at the building on a ten year lease in a move from Stoneleigh Business Park.
Friars House is situated close to the new £1.5bn Friargate development which is bringing more than 3 million sq ft of new offices, residential apartments, hotels, restaurants and bars to the city centre.
Commented Rob Melling, Asset Manager for Friars House: “We are certainly capitalising on the renewed interest in Coventry that Friargate is now creating. These two lettings demonstrate that. More and more companies are being attracted back to the city centre and we continue to receive strong interest from potential occupiers for the remaining space.”
