Major refurbishment project of a 95,000 sq ft ‘shed’ on target for end of year completion.

FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) is now at the halfway stage in a major £1M refurbishment project at its Hay Hall Business Park in Birmingham to create a 95,000 sq ft industrial/warehouse unit to meet market demand in the area.

As part of FIREM’s on-going asset and property management strategy the team have evaluated the market and acknowledged a shortage in high quality large refurbished industrial space in the area.  To meet demand Hay Hall Business Park has seen the partial demolition of a 123,000 sq ft industrial unit to provide two modern industrial/warehouse units with yard/loading areas.

The comprehensive project includes new M&E installation, new cladding, and full decorative work internally as well as improved access to the unit and enlarged yard area with six roller shutter doors and five dock levellers.

Hay Hall Business Park is part of the 5M sq ft Pro Investments portfolio and currently offers a range of industrial accommodation up to 82,412 sq ft as well as 10,487 sq ft of refurbished office space within a 15th Century Manor House which is a focal point for the Business Park.
